What testing do you provide?

• We provide needle electromyography and nerve conduction studies​

When are reports available?​

• Reports are generated at the conclusion of each test and uploaded to your practice EMR.​

Who interprets the reports?​

• The providing electromyographer/physical therapist interprets the results and writes the conclusions. ​

Are physical therapists recognized by CMS as providers of electromyography and nerve conduction studies?​

• CMS formally recognized physical therapists as providers of EMG and NCS in 2001 (see more), but physical therapists have been providing these services for well over 50 years. ​​
